Conference Theme

Humans vs. AI

This year's conference will examine an emerging strategic question: how might humans and artificial intelligence behave in competitive conflict scenarios?

The theme invites participants to explore, through simulation, how machines and humans might make decisions differently under stress, uncertainty, and time pressure.

  • How human teams approach strategic problems compared to an AI-modeled adversary
  • How AI decision processes might differ from human judgment
  • Where human cognition excels or falters under complex conditions
  • What potential limitations or failure modes an AI-driven decision-maker might display
